We'll start with some extra special cuteness for today's post! We have decided (after some awesome suggestions from everyone on Facebook and COTH) to call our Easter filly Wendolyn WF! Her barn name is Lynnie and she really is as sweet and smart as she looks! The morning started with her early turnout and a giant leap from the dirt near the gate onto the grass followed up with a lovely line of 22 one tempi changes! All of which were clean, uphill and lovely! It's never too soon to take note of upper level potential and we are confident this young star has a very bright future indeed!

So here she is -

Now for the breeding news - Mom and I took a tour of the NEW SBS facility in Chesapeake City, MD. It is FABULOUS!!!! Just a breeder's dream come true - and that is speaking as a stallion owner and mare owner! You can check it out on Facebook or their website. If you are in that area during business hours, please take a few minutes and arrange a tour - it is worth every second of your time to see the new facility and learn about the cutting edge technology that goes into ensuring your mare gets the highest quality product! It is also worth mentioning for Mare Owners who are uncomfortable utilizing frozen semen at home - they do offer breeding services there as well! Please give them a call - (410) 885-3202 and go see SBS! :)


Now for our PA/NJ/DE Mare Owners - our fantastic veterinarian Dr. Sarah Sprague offers full reproductive services at her facility as well! We have had extremely good luck with Frozen Semen with our mares under her management, so please consider sending your mare to her whether it be for Fresh or Frozen breedings. She is a rockstar! Updates, photos and a bit of video -

First up - congratulations to Artesian WF and his junior rider!!! They won the Equitation at HITS @ Culpepper just a short time ago! We lifted this photo from Facebook but it shows how happy they are!!

The farm website is massively updated - most of the Sales pages, the foal of 2011 has her own page, Avebury, the colts of 2008, Dressage Royal's offspring page, Waldaire's page, Waldaire's offspring page, the mare's pages, Wallace, Wakanda, Wall Street, Wallstreet Rose, Wizard...it's pretty much about 80% of the site that has been revised. The yet-to-be-named filly by Wizard WF has a bit of VIDEO up. Have a look - she's a bit food oriented and just a love. We couldn't be happier!

Anne & Ellie went over to True Prospect between storms this morning and Ryan Wood schooled Whodini for us in blustery conditions. If you watch the Flat footage - just keep an eye on Whodini's tail - it is horizontal 99% of the time!!! But he was a very good boy - out in the cross country area all alone and he settled quickly. He jumped some logs, went in and out of the water, over the ditch and dropped into the water for the very first time! Such a good baby!

Wow! Is it really only Wednesday???? It's been a busy week but let's all enjoy some photos of Wizard's daughter first! :)

After we got some of the dressage horses worked, it was time to clean up Avebury WF (aka Dillon), Wallace WF (aka Lacey) and Wakanda WF (aka Wendy) for a school over at True Prospect!

All of the horses were excellent today and have made a lot of progress!

Thanks to Susanna Holder for schooling Wakanda! It was their first ride together and they got along beautifully!

Ryan Wood had a super school on Wallace WF! She's just really coming into her own and enjoyed her jumping quite a bit! :)

And last but not least - Avebury WF! Ryan had another super ride on him and they're both looking forward to MCTA and the 1* at the Virginia Horse Trials in the coming weeks!

We took Wall Street and Don William over to True Prospect to have a school this morning. The light was fabulous, the boys were good and Ryan showed us (again) what an awesome rider he is!

So we got Wallstreet Rose WF out with her Wizard filly for a while today! Enjoy the photos of Little Miss W...(we're on the hunt for a good name still)

And then our young stallion Wizard got to go over to True Prospect Farm and have a school with Ryan Wood! Such a thrill to see our horse go so nicely with a really good rider! :) Thanks Ryan!!!

And the last horse of the day was none other than Wallstreet Rose's oldest offspring - Wall Street WF by Waldaire! Ryan had another lovely ride on him - they did a bunch of lovely flying changes, the ditch, the water and hopped over some logs & other obstacles! Not too shabby for a 2nd ride together! :) Thanks to Roddy Strang of Sport Horse Training Inc. for putting such a solid foundation on our youngster! He's awesome!
