Schooling Photos from 4/28/10

Avebury & As You Wish went over to True Prospect for a lesson with Ryan Wood and had a marvelous time jumping offset lines and some cross country obstacles.

As You Wish gets extra carrots for being such a good girl - Ellie was very much sleep deprived, so "Kitty" really stepped up and jumped like the star that she is!

Our second foal has arrived!

Just before midnight on the 27th, Wallstreet Rose delivered a leggy black Waldaire filly! She is quite strong and very sweet with a beautiful face and the longest eyelashes...

We were able to turn both mom & baby out for a bit in the sun, so everyone can see her leg markings - they are identical to Waldaire's!!! (down to the large spot on the left hind cannon bone!!!)

Earlier in the day we did get Southern Leigh and her Waldaire filly (now 40 hours old), out for a bit in the bigger pasture...

Brand New Baby Photos...

Southern Leigh delivered a tall, tastefully marked chestnut filly by Waldaire just before 2 AM this morning!

And some photos from later in the afternoon (roughly 14 hours old)...

Congratulations to Ryan Wood & Avebury WF!

Ryan and Avebury finished their first Training together this past weekend at the Fair Hill Horse Trials in 8th place! Thanks to Ryan and the staff of Phillip & Evie Dutton's True Prospect Farm for doing such a lovely job presenting our stallion!

Congratulations are also in order for Sara & her Always a Lady - they completed their second Advanced and finished in 17th place!

Ellie and Kitty had some nice moments in their dressage. Unfortunately, Ellie's waffling ways cost them some rails in Show Jumping but Kitty ran cross country like the star that she is!
